Job Title: Operator - Water TransferJob Type: Full-TimeFLSA Classification: Non-ExemptSUMMARYThe Water Transfer Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and teardown of equipment used for the transfer of water at frac sites. The operator will work on a crew, manage tasks such as laying and picking up hoses and equipment, monitoring and fueling pumps, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment during water transfer operations. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, operating machinery safely, and maintaining equipment to ensure smooth operations at job sites.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Laying and picking up lay flat hose, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water transfer operations Loading and unloading of field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport Observing machine operations, and gauges, and adjusting controls to maintain specified conditions Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites Following all safety procedures and using proper PPE as required per specific job task Assist in containment and spill clean-ups Communicating with other workers using signals, radios, and telephones Using common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, impact drill, and wrenches Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel, and perform job tasks Attending and successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety (Optional) - Experience running skid steers and deploying lay flat hoseOTHER DUTIESThis job description is not designed to cover or contain an exhaustive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities.
