Job Description

Overview

Transdev is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Portland, Oregon for the TriMet LIFT Contract. This role involves assisting the Assistant General Manager in daily location functions and requires a strong focus on customer service and safety-oriented practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of drivers and dispatch staff
  • Monitor timekeeping, attendance, and operational records
  • Utilize operational systems like MOBI, Command Console, and Transdev VISION
  • Conduct regular safety and operational oversight walkthroughs
  • Investigate dispatch-related service failures and coordinate corrective actions
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Develop and enforce operational procedures and standards
  • Maintain effective communication with employees and leadership
  • Perform Window Dispatch functions as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of prior supervisory experience
  • Transportation experience preferred
  • Minimum 1-year experience in dispatch or operations
  • Above average computer expertise
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn various operational systems
  • Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules
