Overview

Alumico Architectural inc. is seeking a CNC Operator to ensure precise and quality machining of aluminum profiles. This role is essential for maintaining the performance and accuracy of the production line while interpreting technical drawings and managing quality control.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate the CNC Emmegi machining center
  • Read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and production files
  • Inspect raw materials and validate compliance of profiles before machining
  • Correctly position profiles on the loading table according to instructions
  • Load the correct CNC program, execute machining sequences, and monitor operations
  • Adjust parameters or tools as needed to maintain quality and accuracy
  • Conduct regular checks on dimensions, tolerances, visual quality, and quantity
  • Perform tool changes and necessary adjustments during operations
  • Safely handle and move machined parts using the appropriate equipment
  • Clearly identify produced parts to ensure optimal traceability
  • Work according to health and safety standards and report any anomalies or risks

Required skills

  • CNC machining experience, especially with Emmegi machines
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans
  • Rigorous attention to detail and quality
  • Strong organizational skills and autonomy
  • DEP/ASP in CNC machining or relevant training/experience
  • Knowledge in aluminum manufacturing (an asset)
