Overview

ProAmpac is a global leader in flexible packaging with a comprehensive product offering. The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for the autonomous and optimized operation of multi-color flexographic printing presses, ensuring product quality, color management, and adherence to production and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare production schedules and optimize job sequences
  • Select and validate printing materials and appropriate inks for each order
  • Set up and operate multi-color flexographic presses
  • Perform fine adjustments for pressure, registration, and color alignment
  • Conduct colorimetric quality control using a spectrophotometer
  • Lead and coordinate assistant press operators during shifts
  • Document production data and manage inventory transactions
  • Participate in 5S cleaning and maintenance operations

Required skills

  • 5 to 7 years of experience as a lead flexographic press operator
  • Operational mastery of multi-color flexographic printing presses
  • In-depth knowledge of anilox systems and ink viscosity
  • Proficient in colorimetric control using a spectrophotometer
  • Familiarity with flexible packaging substrates
  • Ability to document and use ERP production systems
  • Technical training in flexographic printing or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in French
