Métalunic is a manufacturing company specializing in aluminum coatings for residential, agricultural, and industrial sectors. They are seeking a machine operator for their facility in Les Coteaux, responsible for operating a roll former and ensuring product quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Calibrate equipment and maintain a safe work area
  • Set up, program, and operate the roll former
  • Analyze and complete production reports
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of products
  • Report defects in materials, tools, and equipment
  • Support related departmental activities

Required skills

  • DEP or Secondary 5 education
  • 2 years of experience in steel or aluminum profiling
  • Knowledge of CNC machines (a plus)
  • Forklift operation (a plus)
  • Ability to plan work and meet production deadlines
  • Teamwork and autonomy skills
  • Moderate ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds
