Overview

The Structural Staff Engineering Technician for Overhead Transmission at TPI Global Solutions will work onsite to support various engineering projects related to overhead transmission lines. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and detail structural components and systems, utilizing advanced engineering tools and practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of standards, systems, and departmental guides to deliverables.
  • Review project requirements and determine correct format and contents for deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance of deliverables with codes and standards.
  • Develop and modify technical deliverables under general direction.
  • Utilize CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling tools to create and maintain documentation.
  • Perform design calculations, material estimates, and record keeping.
  • Coordinate with other design personnel to exchange necessary project information.
  • Provide technical guidance to peers and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
