Overview

Curative is seeking a Radiation Physician for a locum position in Alpena, Michigan. The role involves providing care in a mixture of inpatient and outpatient settings, covering for a retiring physician while the team recruits a permanent replacement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide Radiation Oncology care in a solo physician setting
  • Manage a patient load averaging 20 patients per day including 3-5 new consults weekly
  • Perform advanced procedures such as IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, and HDR
  • Document patient care using EPIC and Dragon dictation
  • Participate in optional weeknight call
  • Maintain a steady clinic schedule, preferred Tuesday-Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm

Required skills

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • Active Michigan license or IMLC state compact routing eligibility
  • Experience with advanced Radiation Oncology modalities
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
