Overview

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join their expanding team. This role offers an opportunity to engage in multidisciplinary cancer care, education, and research as part of a nationally recognized cancer care provider affiliated with the MD Anderson Cancer Network.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care in Radiation Oncology
  • Participate in disease-site specialization
  • Engage in clinical research and education
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure rigorous quality assurance in treatments
  • Take part in weekly chart rounds with MD Anderson Cancer Center
  • Access and contribute to clinical trials and innovative therapies
  • Teach and mentor within the program

Required skills

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
  • Experience in delivering clinical care in oncology
  • Knowledge of advanced technology such as Varian TrueBeam & Elekta Linacs
  • Familiarity with clinical research methodologies
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
