Overview

Portneuf Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Radiation Oncologist to join their established team at the Portneuf Cancer Center in Pocatello, Idaho. The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care and advancing cancer treatment in a supportive environment that values collaboration and community.

Key responsibilities

  • Join a team of 2 radiation oncology physicians and 2 medical oncology physicians
  • Provide comprehensive cancer care to patients
  • Engage in meaningful patient impact and support treatment advancements
  • Work alongside clinical support staff including nurses, radiation therapists, and pharmacists
  • Participate in a low-call burden schedule of 1:3
  • Utilize advanced technology including Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator

Required skills

  • Board certified/board eligible in Radiation Oncology
  • Experience in patient care and cancer treatment
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic, Aria, Eclipse)
  • Strong collaborative care skills
  • Ability to provide patient education
