Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is looking for a Radiation Oncologist for locum coverage in Galesburg, Illinois, with rates at $375 per hour. This role offers a work-life balance with no on-call duties, weekends, or holidays, and involves managing the full spectrum of radiation therapy for patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Conduct weekly on-treatment visits and post-treatment follow-ups
  • Perform simulation and dosimetry treatment planning
  • Verify daily images for treatment accuracy and alignment
  • Supervise Stereotactic Radiosurgery procedures
  • Manage primarily external beam treatments, consults, and follow-ups

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
  • Active Illinois State License and IL CSR
  • Active BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience
  • Experience with Epic for EMR/Charting
