Overview

Ghost RX Inc is seeking an Oncology Medical Physician to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Buffalo VA Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. This role involves interpreting genetic testing, administering chemotherapy, and performing various diagnostic procedures, with full-time and locum tenens positions available.

Key responsibilities

  • Interpret mutational and molecular genetic testing to guide chemotherapeutic agent prescribing
  • Conduct life-sustaining therapy conferences with patients and families
  • Assess and manage patients with emergent conditions
  • Administer chemotherapeutic agents and biological response modifiers
  • Perform apheresis procedures and analyze blood tests manually
  • Conduct diagnostic lumbar punctures and bone marrow procedures
  • Manage indwelling venous access catheters and perform therapeutic thoracentesis

Required skills

  • Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent
  • Active medical license in the U.S.
  • NPI report printout
  • Active DEA license
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation
