Overview

Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens is seeking a Medical Oncology Physician for a flexible locum tenens position in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The assignment starts on October 18 and will require full-time coverage, including patient care and administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care for oncology patients in clinic and during inpatient rounding
  • Manage up to 15 patients per day in the clinic and 7 patients per day while assisting with inpatient rounding
  • Participate in a call rotation every 5th week for night and weekend coverage
  • Coordinate with support team including RN, MAs, techs, and APPs
  • Handle head and neck cancer and melanoma cases

Required skills

  • Board Certification in Oncology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Hematology experience preferred
  • Michigan medical license preferred (can wait for full MI license)
