Overview

The On-Site Rooms Controller at Marriott International is responsible for managing room assignments and ensuring excellent guest experiences during their stay. This role involves coordinating check-in procedures, accommodating guest requests, and ensuring proper billing management.

Key responsibilities

  • Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences
  • Pre-register guests and prepare key packets
  • Organize and coordinate check-in procedures for arriving groups
  • Review and accommodate requests for room changes and cancellations
  • Ensure billing accuracy and document exceptions
  • Activate room keys and secure valid payments
  • Run daily reports and perform follow-ups with guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in appearance and conduct
  • Support team to achieve common goals and maintain quality assurance standards
  • Enter and locate information using computer systems or POS systems
