Job Description

Overview

Mercy is seeking a Per Diem Speech Therapist to perform assessments and create individualized treatment programs for patients. This role requires a Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology and a current or provisional state license.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform objective assessments and create individualized treatment programs for patients
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures regarding patient referral
  • Respond to emergency situations as required

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • Current or provisional Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Certification from American Speech and Hearing Association (to be obtained within 1 year)
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience caring for patients of all ages (preferred)
  • One year of experience (preferred)
