Job Description

Overview

Quad is seeking an experienced Second Press Operator for its Sussex, WI location. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining press and auxiliary equipment. The Press Operator will also direct the activities of the press crew and ensure quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press based on written instructions
  • Establish and maintain color and mechanical quality to BPC standards
  • Continuously monitor product for quality and approve or reject
  • Direct and coordinate activities of assigned crew members
  • Perform make-ready duties
  • Complete required general maintenance and lubrication
  • Maintain documentation for assigned job
  • Provide training for crew members
  • Follow all safety policies and report potential hazards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
