Overview

Quad is seeking an experienced Second Press Operator for their Sussex, WI location to set up, operate, and maintain press and auxiliary equipment. This role involves directing crew activities, ensuring product quality, and performing maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain press and auxiliary equipment
  • Direct activities of press crew during down time and make-ready periods
  • Establish and maintain color and mechanical quality to standards
  • Continuously monitor and approve or reject product quality
  • Perform required general maintenance and lubrication assignments
  • Complete necessary documentation for assigned jobs
  • Provide training for crew members for future coverage and positions
  • Follow all safety policies and report any hazards or accidents
