Overview

Quad is seeking an experienced Offset Second Press Operator for its Winchester, VA location. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining the press and auxiliary equipment, while directing the press crew's activities and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain the press and auxiliary equipment
  • Direct activities of press crew during downtime and make-ready periods
  • Establish and maintain color and mechanical quality to BPC standards
  • Continuously monitor product quality and make approval or rejection decisions
  • Perform make-ready duties and complete general maintenance and lubrication tasks
  • Document job assignments electronically and on paper
  • Train crew members for coverage and future positions
  • Follow all safety policies and report hazards or incidents
