Job Description

Overview

The Office Manager will play a vital role in supporting a well-established, family-owned real estate development and property management company. This position involves overseeing daily operations, managing financial records, and supporting various administrative tasks within a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and serve as a key administrative resource
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Maintain organized financial and operational records across multiple properties
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with general bookkeeping functions
  • Coordinate vendor communications and service requests
  • Support property management and development teams with administrative tasks
  • Assist with preparing monthly financial reports and budgeting activities
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and tax documentation
  • Handle special projects and support ownership and leadership as needed

Required skills

  • 2+ years of office management, bookkeeping, administrative, or property management experience
  • Experience in real estate, property management, construction, or a related industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Sage 300 Timberline is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-service mindset
