Overview

Union Concrete and Construction Corp is seeking an entry-level Office Engineer in Stow, NY to support various administrative aspects of heavy civil construction projects. This role offers an opportunity to start a career within a family-owned firm known for its reputable work in Western New York's construction industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all administrative aspects of a project
  • Track labor and equipment usage and complete daily time sheets
  • Complete Daily MURK Sheets
  • Prepare force account submissions for extra work
  • Manage and code all material tickets
  • Review Subcontractor invoicing process for accuracy
  • Prepare Submittals, purchase orders, and subcontracts
  • Assist in preparation of project documents and correspondence
  • Prepare project schedules
  • Submit requests for information
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with project owners and stakeholders

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong business writing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license
  • Eligibility to work in the US
