BEST ONE TIRE & SERVICE is seeking an Experienced Off-the-Road Tire Service Technician to join their team in Saint Louis, Missouri. Key responsibilities

  • Remove, install, and repair off-the-road equipment tires according to TIA guidelines
  • Safely separate and reassemble tires onto wheels using specialized equipment
  • Evaluate tire and rim conditions for repair or replacement needs
  • Provide fleet inspections and recommendations for optimal equipment performance
  • Perform emergency on-site service for OTR tire repairs/replacements
  • Prepare service documentation on-site detailing performed services
  • Communicate fleet needs effectively with service managers and sales
  • Operate heavy-duty service trucks and hydraulic manipulator hands
  • Maintain and operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely
  • Ensure company vehicles are maintained to D.O.T. standards
  • Raise and lower vehicles with hydraulic or floor jacks safely and effectively

Required skills

  • Experience with commercial vehicles
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving history
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment
  • Strong teamwork and detail-oriented skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform repetitive motions
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to tire service
