FC Industries Inc, through its subsidiary FC Precision, is seeking an Experienced Precision OD/ID Grinder to join their team in Dayton, Ohio. This role is crucial for the production of aerospace components, requiring high precision and adherence to industry standards. Key responsibilities

  • Setup and operate CNC outer diameter (OD) grinding machines
  • Use radius dressers and other tools to ensure product specifications
  • Understand and interpret conversational programming
  • Inspect parts regularly using standard measuring tools for quality control
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams

Required skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of OD/ID or jig grinding experience
  • CNC OD ID grinding experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in CNC machining preferred
  • Ability to hold .0001" tolerances regularly
  • Conversational programming knowledge, preferably with Okuma
  • Deep understanding of technical drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools
