The Oceanographer/Meteorologist role within the US Navy involves serving as a geophysical expert who applies meteorology, oceanography, and related sciences to support naval operations. Officers in this position will be pivotal in ensuring operational safety and effectiveness by managing environmental data collection and analysis.
