Overview

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for their outpatient neuro program in Roswell, Georgia. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to help patients restore or improve daily living functions, mobility, and overall health while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement the occupational therapy treatment plan
  • Select appropriate treatment activities to progress patient towards goals
  • Revise goals and plan of care with input from patients and families
  • Provide ongoing patient and family education and training
  • Document evaluations and plans of care according to guidelines
  • Establish and evaluate treatment programs and discharge plans in collaboration with physicians
