Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for their Acute Care unit in Hiram, Georgia. The role entails assessing and implementing rehabilitative programs aimed at improving patients' functionalities across various daily living activities. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and families to develop and evaluate treatment plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients' occupational therapy needs in collaboration with physicians
  • Establish and implement treatment plans and discharge plans
  • Select appropriate treatment activities to help patients meet goals
  • Provide patient and family education and training regarding care
