Overview

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team in Warm Springs, Georgia. This role involves assessing, planning, and providing rehabilitative programs to help patients improve their functionality and mobility. The therapist will work Monday to Friday, contributing to the health and well-being of individuals while adhering to high standards of ethical practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs.
  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans with appropriate activities.
  • Collaborate with physicians and families on treatment programs and goals.
  • Document evaluations and treatment sessions according to departmental guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing patient and family education and training.
  • Act as a referral source for rehabilitation services and resources.
  • Participate in professional development and mandatory education.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical practices.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
