Job Description

Overview

As a Full Time Medical Director of Occupational Medicine at Premise Health, you will provide comprehensive health care services to client employees in Denver, CO. You will be responsible for overseeing clinical practices, developing health center goals, and ensuring high-quality patient care in alignment with the organization’s mission to promote wellness.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct histories, physical exams, and prescribe medical treatment
  • Provide a spectrum of high-quality, person-focused health care services
  • Oversee the site’s clinical practices and procedures
  • Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives
  • Drive outcomes for clinical programs at the site
  • Develop policies and guidelines to improve service to clients
  • Teach/train and mentor site physicians and staff providers
  • Partner with operations team members to drive member engagement
  • Serve as a collaborative physician for advanced practice providers
  • Support the effective operation of the health center

Required skills

  • Licensed to practice medicine in each state of practice/oversite
  • Federal DEA license
  • State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required
  • Current board certification or board eligibility
  • CPR certification (BLS or ACLS)
  • 3-5 years in emergency room, ambulatory care, or occupational health settings
  • Minimum 3 years management/leadership experience in healthcare
  • Clinical subject matter expertise appropriate to services rendered
