Overview

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is seeking an Occupancy Specialist to join their Housing Team, responsible for managing property services for two locations. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule primarily focused on tenant relations, lease enforcement, and HUD compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage tenant and stakeholder issues related to the property
  • Enforce lease requirements and project rules
  • Market and promote properties to ensure occupancy rates meet or exceed budget
  • Collect and accurately record all payments, including rents and deposits
  • Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and Fair Housing laws
  • Maintain and manage accurate tenant files and waiting lists
  • Conduct apartment inspections and prepare for compliance inspections
  • Provide building services such as cleaning and maintenance support
  • Complete required training and stay updated with best practices
