Job Description

Overview

The Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician Assistant at Protean Med LLC will work closely with OB/GYN physicians and a multidisciplinary care team in a busy outpatient clinic. This role focuses on providing comprehensive women's healthcare, supporting patients through various life stages including adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality OB/GYN care in an outpatient setting
  • Educate women on preventive care, wellness, and health management
  • Manage OB and GYN patients including IUD insertions and perinatal exams
  • Conduct fetal heart tone assessments, cervical exams, and postpartum depression screenings
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians in a patient-centered environment
  • Support continuity of care for patients across all life stages
  • Accurately document clinical encounters using EPIC EMR

Required skills

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active and unrestricted Indiana license (NP or PA)
  • Valid DEA and RN/APRN license for NP or PA license
  • Women’s Health NP and/or OB/GYN experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork, flexibility, and communication skills
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
