Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for a locum tenens position in Granbury, Texas. This role involves inpatient care with a call schedule for supplemental coverage starting January 1, 2026, primarily managing deliveries and gynecological surgeries.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric and gynecological care in an inpatient setting
  • Manage low-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries
  • Perform surgical procedures including repair of third and fourth degree lacerations
  • Conduct phone consultations and patient admissions
  • Respond to call schedules and maintain patient volume
  • Collaborate with support staff, including RNs

Required skills

  • Active Texas Medical License
  • Board Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Experience with surgical GYN procedures
  • Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) interpretation
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Athena and Medhost
