Overview

Medicorp, Inc. is seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join their team in Central New Mexico. This role involves delivering comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in collaboration with a dedicated group of clinicians and hospital staff, emphasizing team-oriented patient management and quality care.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients
  • Provide contraceptive services where applicable
  • Care for high-risk patients, coordinating with Maternal-Fetal-Medicine support
  • Develop clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in peer reviews and investigations of clinical incidents
  • Ensure hospitalist participation in quality initiatives
  • Conduct daily in-person handoffs between clinicians
  • Participate in Labor and Delivery board rounds and clinical drills
  • Complete required educational courses and corporate training

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Active Candidate Ob/Gyn Physician
  • Licensed to practice medicine in New Mexico
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team collaboration and service-oriented mindset
  • Experience in quality assurance and clinical protocols
  • Emergency response skills
