Overview

The Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician role at Cross Country Locums involves providing medical care in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and trauma care. The position requires working scheduled clinical hours along with on-call duties, catering to an average of 25 patients per shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient care
  • Respond to trauma situations as needed
  • Take call for assigned patients with a required response time of 30 minutes
  • Handle a patient load of approximately 25 patients per shift

Required skills

  • Active NM License
  • Board Certified (BC)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience with emergency medicine
  • Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient care
  • Familiarity with trauma care
  • EMR experience with Athena/Medhost
