Job Description

Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to provide comprehensive women's health services in Durant, Oklahoma. The facility features a supportive environment and a 20-bed department equipped with pediatric capabilities and trauma services, ensuring quality care for patients of all ages.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with 5 patient encounters per shift
  • Handle routine deliveries including vaginal births and cesarean sections
  • Manage complicated deliveries including breech presentations and multiple births
  • Perform repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Required skills

  • Board certification required (Board Certification Eligible considered)
  • Active Oklahoma medical license
  • ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Low and high risk pregnancy management experience
  • FHR interpretation capabilities (NST/CST/FSE)
  • OB ultrasound experience (Level I and II)
  • Amniocentesis experience
  • Office and minor gynecology procedures experience
  • Surgical gynecology experience (open and laparoscopic procedures)
  • VBAC experience
  • Laser certification preferred
