Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for part-time locum tenens coverage in Madison, Indiana due to provider vacation and vacancy. The role involves weekend 24-hour call with an average of one delivery per day and a requirement for various clinical procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide weekend 24-hour on-call coverage
  • Conduct 7am rounding and manage clinic hours
  • Perform VBACs, C-Sections, Nexplanon placements, and Emergency Births
  • Act as the primary on-call physician without midlevel support
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing training as needed

Required skills

  • Active Indiana medical license
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems like EPIC
  • Experience in a hospital setting
