Overview

Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens is seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician for a locum assignment in Tavares, Florida. This position offers a stable job opportunity with access to Central Florida's attractions and the chance to work with a supportive team in a healthcare setting that averages over 200 deliveries per month.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Work 12 hour shifts, with the option for full 24 hour shifts on holidays
  • Collaborate with support staff including a CNM and another OB Hospitalist
  • Manage GYN cases and Level II NICU responsibilities
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation

Required skills

  • Florida Medical License
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility within the last 5 years
  • Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Ability to expedite privileges
  • Emergency Medicine knowledge
  • Hospital Medicine expertise
  • Neonatology experience
