Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician for a locum tenens position in Granbury, Texas. This role involves inpatient care with a call schedule, focusing on both routine and complex obstetric and gynecological procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient care in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Manage call duties with a 1:3 ratio and respond to calls within 30 minutes
  • Perform low-risk and complicated deliveries, as well as surgical GYN procedures
  • Interpret fetal heart rate (FHR) and conduct amniocentesis
  • Consult with patients via phone and manage admissions and rounding

Required skills

  • Active TX License
  • Board Certified (BC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Experience with EMR systems such as Athena and Medhost
