Overview

Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for a call-only locum position in Pulaski, Tennessee. This ongoing assignment offers temporary privileges with a focus on managing low-risk and complicated deliveries, as well as surgical gynecology procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide call-only coverage for obstetrics and gynecology
  • Manage surgical gynecology procedures such as ectopic pregnancy and ovary removal
  • Oversee low-risk pregnancy management and routine deliveries
  • Handle complicated deliveries including C-section and multiple births
  • Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • Rounding on unassigned patients and admissions

Required skills

  • Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Fellowship preferred
  • Active Tennessee medical license
  • EFM Monitoring Certification
  • Experience with surgical procedures and patient management
  • Call management expertise
  • Familiarity with medical coding and healthcare compliance
