Overview

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is looking for a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician leader to take on the role of Director of Inpatient Services. This position involves overseeing inpatient obstetrics care across various units and includes responsibilities such as clinical oversight, quality improvement, and community engagement. The Director will manage the OB clinical teams and ensure high-quality patient care while collaborating with other departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee inpatient obstetrics care across Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Triage, and Postpartum units
  • Directly manage the OBG Hospitalist Group
  • Lead quality initiatives and drive process improvements
  • Develop protocols and optimize EPIC documentation
  • Ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with counterparts throughout NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine
