Overview

The OA - Packaging and Boxing position at Butterball involves performing various manual and machine-assisted tasks to produce turkey products while adhering to strict safety, quality, and sanitation standards. The role is essential in supporting daily production and company goals within the processing department.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform manual, repetitive tasks to process meat from turkeys
  • Ensure product safety and defense in the plant
  • Follow GMP and HACCP procedures related to product safety
  • Support all food safety initiatives
  • Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns
  • Rotate through different functions within the processing department
  • Perform other duties as assigned
