Overview

The OA - LIVE HANG - 2nd Shift role at Butterball involves performing manual tasks to humanely transfer live turkeys onto the processing line. Key responsibilities

  • Transfer live birds from holding zone onto shackles on a processing line.
  • Perform repetitive tasks without the assistance of tools.
  • Adhere strictly to animal care and wellbeing, safety, and food safety standards and requirements.
  • Follow all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to product safety.
  • Support all Food Safety initiatives.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or related preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in groups
  • Planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of HACCP, FDA, and OSHA requirements
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
