Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 global law firm, is looking for a talented Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its growing Real Estate Practice Group in New York. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative team, handling complex transactions that greatly influence the commercial real estate landscape.

Key responsibilities

  • Support senior attorneys in structuring, drafting, and negotiating real estate transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and coordinate closing processes for complex real estate deals.
  • Prepare and review key transactional documents such as loan agreements and lease agreements.
  • Advise clients on real estate and financing matters with practical, business-oriented guidance.
  • Collaborate across practice groups for comprehensive client solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

  • JD from a top-tier law school
  • Active Bar Admission in New York
  • 2-5 years of substantive real estate transactional experience
  • Experience representing lenders or borrowers in real estate matters
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and professionalism
