Job Description

Overview

The University of Mount Olive is seeking a full-time Nursing Faculty member to teach and supervise students in the Division of Nursing. This role requires a presence on campus and includes responsibilities for advising, teaching, and overseeing both day and night nursing programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach Nursing and related coursework in both lecture, laboratory, and clinical settings
  • Advise and supervise nursing majors
  • Conduct night and weekend teaching assignments as necessary
  • Create, organize, and deliver course content using a Learning Management System

Required skills

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Active, unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Doctorate in Nursing or related field (preferred)
  • Previous teaching experience at the college level (preferred)
  • Five years of experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse (preferred)
