Overview

Fusco Personnel is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to oversee clinical operations in a home care setting in Albany, NY. This leadership role involves managing clinical staff, coordinating patient services, and upholding regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain clinical standards of care for all patients
  • Supervise and support field staff, including ongoing training and performance management
  • Coordinate and manage services provided to patients and their families
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with physician orders and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding patient care
  • Monitor and ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed
  • Support infection control, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives
  • Address and resolve patient care concerns and complaints
  • Assist with staff development, education, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain communication across interdisciplinary teams and leadership
  • Participate in community outreach and support organizational growth initiatives

Required skills

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience within the last 3 years
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Public Health (preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in home care or community-based healthcare preferred
