Overview

NiteLines USA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care services in a federal correction facility in Victorville, CA. The role requires a dedicated professional who embodies the organization's core principles of integrity, respect, accountability, and collaboration, working 40 hours per week in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
  • Perform advance practice duties within the scope of licensure.
  • Administer medications as prescribed via various methods.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy.
  • Conduct medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays.
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Operates EKG and manages clinical emergencies.
  • Record progress notes and make treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with physicians in planning and evaluating healthcare services.

Required skills

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in California
  • NP certified
  • At least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • CPR certified
  • Experience with patient care and clinical assessment
  • Medical documentation and compliance skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage clinic operations
