Overview

Provider Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a family practice position in North Sacramento. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based patient care to individuals of all ages, focusing on improving health outcomes within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and create treatment plans
  • Complete annual wellness exams and perform occasional home visits
  • Execute therapeutic procedures with an emphasis on preventative care
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
  • Document all patient encounters according to organization policy

Required skills

  • Current California Nurse Practitioner license
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification from ANCC or AANP
  • Current DEA licensure
  • Active CPR Certification
  • 1-2 years of NP experience
  • Spanish language skills (preferred)
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically NextGen
