Overview

The Nurse Manager (RN) for Inpatient Psych in Pierceton, Indiana is responsible for the overall administration of nursing care in a psychiatric facility. This role emphasizes clinical leadership, team development, and quality improvement while supporting a flexible 40-hour work schedule across all shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee nursing care and policy implementation
  • Support staff development and provide mentorship
  • Implement trauma-informed, patient-centered care models
  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing
  • Participate in administrative on-call rotation

Required skills

  • Active Indiana RN license
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Passion for psychiatric nursing and trauma-informed care
  • Self-motivated leadership skills
