Overview

The Nurse Assistant or Trainee will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff in a surgical setting during night shifts. The role includes tasks such as taking vitals, assisting with patient hygiene, and reporting changes in patient conditions. Key responsibilities

  • Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff
  • Take patients' vital signs
  • Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and mobility
  • Change linens and perform other assigned duties
  • Obtain and report information on patient conditions to nursing staff
  • Complete required training and competency assessments
