Overview

VISTA Staffing Solutions is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a Behavioral Health Clinic in La Grande, Oregon. This position offers the opportunity to work in a rural health setting while serving a local population of approximately 35,000 residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric care in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including LCSWs
  • Manage an average of 14-17 patients per day
  • Participate in phone call rotation for on-call duties
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient management

Required skills

  • Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Experience in psychiatry and mental health care
  • Clinical skills in patient assessment and treatment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Crisis intervention techniques
  • Telehealth capabilities
