Overview

The NP or PA for Nephrology at L.E. Cox Medical Centers will work collaboratively with physicians to provide advanced nursing care, perform evaluations, and manage patient treatment plans. The role includes maintaining communication with patients and managing clinical tasks in a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in clinical decision-making and case management
  • Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests
  • Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications or therapies
  • Coordinate medicine and health services in various settings
  • Maintain communication with adjusters and employers regarding work status
  • Complete EMR within 48 hours of appointments
  • Utilize Telemedicine for collaboration with providers
  • Triage and coordinate care for walk-in work injuries
