Odeum Labor Services is seeking freelance OSHA certified event and production crew members for live events, theater, and experiential builds in Jersey City, New Jersey. With a pay range of $36-$47 per hour, the role offers project-based work with a focus on delivering high-quality setups for various events, while ensuring crews are respected and supported on-site.

Key responsibilities

  • Support live events and productions by installing scenic and technical elements such as staging, lighting, and sound
  • Work on carpentry, electrical, and stagehand tasks as required
  • Maintain a professional attitude and reliability on-site
  • Communicate effectively with in-house project managers
  • Travel to and from job sites in the King of Prussia, PA area

Required skills

  • Prior experience in live events and production labor
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • SST certification
  • Skill in carpentry, technical setup, and project management
