Job Description

Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Non-CDL Bus Driver to provide safe and comfortable transportation in Columbus, Ohio, as part of their contract with COTA. The role emphasizes professionalism, customer service, and adherence to safety protocols while operating a passenger vehicle.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers during boarding, rides, and disembarkation
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
  • Uphold company policies, including seat belt enforcement and emergency response preparedness
  • Assist with other duties as required

Required skills

  • Valid Ohio driver's license in good standing
  • At least 3 years of motor vehicle history
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, background check, and drug screen
  • Availability for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and push/pull up to 75 pounds
